I’m Karly, photographer, beach lover, memory chaser. Born and raised just north of Coffs and yep, still here. Not many people stick around their hometown but honestly? I wouldn’t trade it. The slower pace, salty air, familiar faces. It’s my kind of living.

I’ve always had a thing for creating. As a kid it was singing dancing and questionable karaoke in my room. I Loved to draw & paint but one day I picked up a camera and that was it. I’ve been hooked ever since. Started out with dodgy disposable cameras and my parents’ old video camera, then I got my own digital & the love affair began.

These days you’ll usually find me down at the beach with my husband and our boys, camera or phone in tow, capturing all the things, the sunsets the ocean & the chaos at the beach with 3 wild boys. Those everyday moments are what give me life.

That’s also what I bring through my camera. No stiff poses or awkward smiles here. I’m all about the real stuff, the messy, beautiful, unplanned moments that actually mean something. The way your kids throw their heads back laughing, the quiet way your partner looks at you when you’re not watching, the wind catching your hair just right. That’s the real magic.
